Martin of UFO (Universal
Fibre Optics) feeds the 9 hallway up-lighter fibre optic cables into
the floor. A benefit of having Eddy of
INPALA
Interieurbouw, the Dutch marine woodworker to hand was, he suggested
making the floor holes bigger than needed to aid installation because
his European Oak floor would cover these with the smaller light fitting
holes, made later.
Another installation benefit for the UFO
fitters was, fibre optic being non electrically conductive allowed them
to connect to the light-projector and illuminate the underside of the
floor to aid feeding of the cables... very smart!
