Because JENAL is stored at the Ament boatyard in their open
hard-standing area, the appalling 2013 winter/spring conditions had
placed a halt on external work but thankfully
Frits Schrauwen (marine electrician) was able to work internally.
Frits was originally commissioned to develop the DC (operational)
circuits but the 5 year delays meant a change in J&A's plans. Giving
Frits the AC (domestic) side to sort out as well, with the added problem
of all the wood and
Thinsulate walls being constructed, making it simpler to use
Mastervolt switching electronics than a multitude of lighting cable runs
throughout walls.
