December ~ 13 The sink area now has its tiled splash-back, wall mirror and LED lights above & below the mirror. Contained in the cabinet below the sink, are 2 electrical shaver sockets for his-n-hers electric toothbrushes. It sounds a bit overly cute but was the easiest place to fit. Because they were an electrical after-thought, requiring Frits to feed yet another cable through the system. Plus, they're not particularly attractive on show. A further example of an electrical afterthought is the white single 13amp electrical socket, on the outer bathroom wall. It is useful and a disguise for the power feed on the other side of this wall which feeds an electrical heating element in the bathroom towel radiator. For occasional summer use when the heating system is switched off. |
