CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION - story page number twenty-six
A distinctive picture taken at the start of the rebuild. To make the engine installation easier and to reduce the chances of scratching the frames new paint, we laid the engine on its side and lowered the frame over it. With the aid of 2 willing assistants (Simon's wife and mother) who steadied the blocked up engine, it was a simple job. Installing the main engine bolts and then simply righting the engined frame. A job as easy as one would have liked. All new stainless steel Allen bolts and nuts were used throughout the build including special ones to enhance the visual appeal of the engine.
