The new main-frame grey coloured steel channel can be seen below the bikes wheels and centre stand. The right-hand steel channel will extend upward to just below the deck level, giving a guide to simplify the loading of the bike.

To store the bike correctly in this comparatively snug space, the bike needs to be angled down towards the front by 40cm to enable it to fit within the bow hull walls and keep the high screen below the 1/4 ton closing bow locker door.

The welding in of the strengtheners which have yet to be installed for the bike mounting frame, have been so designed as to maximise space for general storage below and around the bike.

The bow pin-anchor is housed in the large diameter tube in the foreground.
