The two transversely mounted Volvo-Penta engines are barely visible below their white protective covers but what is clear are their green Hydrosta motors (in place of gearboxes) and dangling between them on the cable hoist is the 13Kva hydraulically driven generator, ready for trial installation.

To the left of the engine-room is an open area to the Klipper interior, Martie (one of Aments top fabricators and the man charged with the fabrication of JENAL) wisely left this panel off to assist himself in JENAL's build access, welding the curved panel in-place at the end of the engine-room fabrication process.
