The top left picture shows the rudder in place including the man-overboard steps welded to its rear edge. The large silver panel above it is made of stainless steel and is there to prevent hull damage at this anchor point. The aft drag anchor will inevitably swing against the hull as it is withdrawn from the watery depths.

Right & bottom left are pictures of the bow anchor (total 2) and its dual winch on the forepeak. This was a later change to the original spec. for JENAL, due to the latest Rhine Standard Certification, demanding a total of 3 anchors for a ship this size.
