Ian stands to give his best-man speech after the meal of:-

Millefeuille of seafood fricassee followed by Roast Parma ham wrapped guinea fowl supreme with cranberry & chestnut stuffing on a bubble & squeak cake with honey roasted vegetables. The desert was Citrus poached pear with champagne sorbet & melon puree.

The laughing was, no doubt, from the many infectious bouts of barracking from the 'floor'.
