This amazing van, based on a Bedford CF, was built by Alan and a friend as a promotional vehicle for CBS (Alan was marketing manager) in the early '70's.  It had a 4.2 litre V8 engine, Jaguar XJ12 modified suspension - back and front (the back was widened by 10") and an interior to die-for. The Recaro seats had stereo speakers in the head-rests, the suspension was air and it raised and lowered at the touch of a button.

The headlights had covering flaps to conceal them and the front grill bars were made of acrylic and they all illuminated for the side lights with the corner ones winking yellow as indicators. The special metal-flake paint cannot be appreciated enough in the photograph.
