JENAL resides in the paint 'hanger' where she will stay for the next month. Jan Ament of Ament Metaalbewerking the constructors of JENAL surveys his men's work, in particular, the polished stainless steel rear hand rail and sundeck stanchions being loosely positioned on the aft end. Alan brought the decorative rope for the stanchions and fortunately, it was the correct size. These sundeck stanchions sit in their own stainless steel sockets enabling them to be easily removed, when not needed or for low bridge negotiations.

The Man-Over-Board steps attached to the rear of the rudder and sloping back of the hull can be observed.  They are an emergency facility only, which is just as well because a penchant for rock climbing would be an asset for the user.
