Eddy and Manu of INPALA Interieurbouw have completed the teak stairway steps. The thicker black line at the leading edge of each step is a non-slip rubber insertion.

We decided to place the teak stair treads facing port to starboard so as to contrast with the teak wheelhouse flooring, which runs fore and aft.  This should make it easier to visually differentiate when walking from the wheelhouse, down the stairway and hopefully prevent a misguided trip, down them.

The protective card on the floor and stair treads will hopefully, protect them from worker misuse during her final build.
