Jenal sails under her own steam and for the first time, back from
the hard standing to her regular Maasbracht mooring. Quite an ordeal
because the hydraulics had not been fully commissioned yet and the side
thrusters were inoperative.
The lack of thruster action turned out to be a mistake by
Ament Metaalbewerking,
they had fitted the incorrect handed propellers so they were powering
against each other per thruster tube. Hey ho - 'J&A' were used to ship
builder problems and the dry docking by Ament to swop the props around,
would not take too long. But at least she sailed!
