While waiting for the final rolling road test
results to be published, here is a comparison of old and new
heads especially developed by Len Paterson of
The Cylinder Head Shop.
Both the inlet and
exhaust valves are 1.4mm larger with much redesigning by
G&S Valves to increase velocity and generate swirl to
improve valve entry and exit through the head.
The combustion chambers
were also reshaped to both benefit combustion and the burnt
gases exit through their respective valves.
