The Webasto water heater stopped working, now this has been a bit
of an issue between Webasto and 'A' due to Webasto specifying that the
central heating system should also heat the domestic (tap) water. In
the end, it didn't work that way so Webasto supplied a separate little
water heater kit solely for the domestic hot water supply. This was a late
after-thought and Ament

installed it under the calorifier in the electrics room. See picture
below.

Ament, in their rush, placed the heater fuel pump there as well, asking it
to suck fuel over many meters distance rather pump it. It struggled for 4
months but eventfully stopped working. The same pump was moved closer to
the fuel supply, under the floor, in the engine room and has proved a
success. It was mounted on rubber sound absorption units and now, also
works in
silence. |
