The lounge (saloon) cabinetry takes shape in Andrew Varah' s Warwickshire workshop. It is un-finished & un-polished at this stage but is a pleasure to behold because the attention to detail is just... excellent.

 

 

May (late) 07

This was a snap visit because Alan was biking in the area with his fellow BMW club members.  Eddy of INPALA Interieurbouw was progressing the woodwork where room dimensions were becoming 'physically' apparent

  

June (early) 07
Alan spent 4 productive days with Ament  to progress many small details that hindered the run of JENAL production.
July 07
The build-up work on JENAL continues, prior the the Ament factories 3 week annual July/August closure.

Andrew Varah' s team have been hard at work building the lounge cabinetry, ready for installation when JENAL arrives in the UK
August 07
After Aments 3 week closure, work picks up on JENAL in particular, the completion of the wheelhouse fabrication.
September (early) 07
Ament, Frits & Eddy (boat builders, electrician & carpenter) progress well.
October 07
JENAL is a hive of work as all the trades speedily finish her, ready for her late October launch.

And this is why Noah got his ship built on time, the rest of us don't have this divine intervention, in consequence we are subject to man's timing frailties.

Remember... a lone amateur built the Ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic!!!
